30 Days and still Goin

Ive eaten 100% raw for more than a month now. It was hard the first 2 weeks but after that everything went well. Heres the summary.

First couple days, I had a mild headaches. Probably the body reaction to the massive amounts of vitamins. Detox symptoms basically. 

Pissing a lot. Shitting a lot. No odor. 

Mental clarity.

Rise in awareness and confidence.

Happier and lighter feeling. 

Lost 4 pounds. Working on gaining it back though.

Require less sleep.

Wild, Vivid dreams.

More relaxed. 

Higher level of energy.

basically eating raw is the shit.

I ate some cooked vegetables after the initial 30 days. It didnt feel too good. 

I have had No caffeine or alcohol. Plan on keeping it that way until my 21st in march. When I do plan on getting hammered.

In conclusion, eating raw for 30 days was a blast. I am healthier now both physically and mentally. 

I am now a vegetarian and will eat some cooked vegetables. 

I plan on going back to 100% raw in about a month. ( i need to save some money )

This was a fun challenge.

Couple more days.




Im proud to say that this is how my refrigerator has looked for the past month. Filled with lots of fruits and vegetables. I have eaten soo many different varieties of fruits and vegetables that I'm not too sure which are left to eat. I still have a couple days left so on my last day I will sum up my opinions. 

I went grocery shopping and spent around $150 so I defi
nitely feel some damage in my bank account this month, but its not half bad. I only spend about five to ten dollars more than I would be spending everyday.

I went on a trip to Frisco and it was pretty mellow. Got there at night so I had only 1 full day to see everything then left back for Los Angeles at night. I got to see everything that needed to be seen, but didn't have time to absorb much. 

Went to the landmarks such as alcatraz, china town, the gate bridge, china town, all the different towns, sausalito, the tea garden, and a bunch of other places. I like the town and the atmosphere, but I don't see myself living there. I brought tons of fruits and vegetables on the trip so I didn't need to buy any food besides water. 


TODAY.

Breakfast: 4 bananas + 100 g spinach + 15 carrots + 1 cup water +1 tsp organic flax seed = all blended.

Pre- lunch- large salad with tomatoes and bananas + 1 fuji apple 

Lunch: 1 large bowl rice with mixed assorted vegetables.

Pre dinner: 2 bananas + 2 kiwis + 1 pear 
large salad with cacao + 1/2 bell pepper + 1 banana + grape tomatoes.


Dinner: Large bowl of rice with assorted vegetables.

I have been maintaining my weight and is now exactly the weight I was on day 1. 
Its not easy eating all day trying to fill the daily requirements, but the benefits far outweigh the work. In all honesty, I have to desire to eat meat or fish of any sort. Im happy and my taste buds are fully satisfied eating 100% raw. After the 2 week point it has more or less been smoothe cruising.

I have a new project aligned for me after this raw diet challenge so be tuned. This next one will be a real challenge.

Day 23 halloween

So I have not written this for a week.
Found it to be too repetitive and I got busy to make time to write.
I'm still doing good. This is not as hard of a task or a goal than I thought. After finding it to be easier and easier to eat raw as the days go by, I see myself being a lifelong raw foodist.

My usual daily meals are as follows.

Breakfast: 4 banana+ carrots+ spinach  +1 cup water shake. This seems to be the perfect shake to start the day. 

Snacks: I munch on various fruits such as Fuji apples, oranges, clementines, berries, blueberries, raspberries, pears, bananas throughout the day or I make myself a shake here and there.

Lunch: 
large bowl of salad with 1/2 bell pepper, cacao nibs
, goji berries, 1 sliced banana + dressing
Then I eat a bowl of rice with various vegetables. Basically a vegetable rice bowl.

Dinner: 
I would usually eat another bowl of rice with vegetables and then eat another large salad right after.

I end up eating enough to keep my weight as stable as possible but It does fluctuate a little. Without the amount of rice I am eating I would no
t be able to keep my weight stable.

I am drinking tons of water throughout the day too.

Still no alchol, sugars, junk food, meat, caffeine, or sodas. Although I am getting cravings for junk food from time to time because I feel the food I am eating to be very repetitive and desire some change. I feel as if I can do this forever as long as I switch up and change the types of fruits and vegetables I eat.

DAY 12

Woke up bright and early.
Had my usual breakfast.
My usual Lunch.
But a different dinner. I did not take a picture, but I will describe it. 

Dinner: Large bowl of brown rice with tons of fresh bean sprouts, cucumbers, cabbage, Broccoli. 
I can't describe how full I felt after eating this. It's probably the rice. 

I bought a lot of rice today, along with a variety of vegetables. I plan on having 1 meal a day consisting of brown rice and assorted vegetables. 

Im starting to spend even more money lately on food and it is getting a little bit tough. Especially that Im jobless for the next week I hate seeing my bank statement decreasing instead of increasing. 


I went for a drive to tujunga in the evening and walked around the strip where the new town center is coming in. I ended up walking into what looked like an art gallery, but found out that it was a dental art office. I ended up meeting the owner of the store who happened to be part korean so we had a chat. She told me about how she is a sculptor, but jumped into creating prosthetic teeth for dental offices in order to pay for rent in order to enjoy her main passion of sculpting. I find it interesting that many artists cannot enjoy their profession to the fullest due to financial problems. Many artist seem to jump into making money and usually end up forgetting about art. Kelly seemed determined to do both, and I saw her as an ambitious person who will do so. I got a tour of the store and I really enjoyed the new things I was learning. She told me if I needed any dental work she can recommend me one of her many dentist friends. I told her thanks and told her I would come visit her again sometime. She was the coolest business owner I have ever met.

Day 11


This is my dog Kobe. Sometime last year Kobe said to me "Hey Dsong. I wish you didn't smoke weed. Your not the same when you smoke. And I miss my friend. I'll be outside." So I decided to live above the influence. 

Woke up with a headache. 
For breakfast I ate 4 bananas and 2 fuji apples in one sitting. My headache went away a little after the meal. I think it was because I did not eat enough the day before. 
I went to school, but came home because my class w
as canceled. Drove back home and it was still early maybe around 9 so I sat around and ended up banging my piano for some time. Something miraculous happened as I was playing. The key that was stuck and not working the past couple days healed itself and is working fine. What a joke. I find myself being bored the past couple days because I quit my job. Im planning on finding a new job by the end of the week, but until then I have some free time. With that free time I find searching for ways to enjoy myself to the fullest.

LUNCH: Big mixed salad with bellpeppers, tomatoes, cacao, goji, bananas, strawberries. 
Big shake with 4 bananas and baby spinach.

I was really energized and felt stuck inside my home so I packed a book, some fruits, water and just started skating downhill. Bombing hills used to be soo fun when I was younger and I just never do it anymore. Nowadays its a call "hey lets go skate ______." And get in a car, drive to ____ spot wherever it is, and just get back in the car and drive home. What happened to the days we used to skate around the city where the real streets and alleys are? I ended up bombing hills all the way down to glendale and skated around looking at things and took the b- line home. I can't even remember the last time I took the bus. Funny, but I had a blast. Driving my car is getting annoying. Maybe I should get a motorcycle.

I ate my dinner:
Kiwis, smoothie, salad, avocados.

 Im basically eating the same shit everyday. 
I plan on changing it up. 

Im getting lazy on the pictures, but yeah Its still going. I am still 100% raw.
Feeling Healthy. Mentally and physically.
I am not tired throughout the day.
I am eating tons of bananas, apples, strawberries, nuts and seeds in between my meals so I am able to maintain a steady weight.

Day 10

Sundays are fun.

I had my usual breakfast consisting of vegetables and fruits.

My family went to church, but I stayed home.
I used to go to church, like most people. 
I was not raised religious.
I looked for god to help me get out of times when things were really bad. Which I believe he did.
But, I don't believe in Jesus Christ, The koran, The jews, or any defined religion.
I know there is a higher being, God, in the sense that its a part of me and everything and everyone that connects us together in order to help us and guide us to help our own selves and each other fix and obtain our desires.

I believe christianity has suckered the world in
t
o becoming passive believers. Spreading westernization through missionaries, and infecting the world using a christian mask with a deadly american plot for power and greed behind it. I sound radical. But if you look around, tell me its not true. Unless you have no ability to see things yet.

Lunch was good, I took some time to prepa
re my meal.

Day 9


Friday Already.
I realize the days go buy faster and faster as I get older and older.
Sucks.

BREAKFAST: Bananas + Spinach + blueberries = dank blended shake

I went to buy a big box of organic mixed green salad.
Lately, eating a large scale bowl of salad with cacao nibs and some fruits mixed in is the best.

I watched a movie today which I told myself I wont be doing. I need a break from time to time I suppose. I made a decision quite a while back maybe a couple months ago to not watch movies that are not educational or documentaries and no rid myself of any television watching.

The television watching has been completely eliminated for a while now and Im more than happy its out of my life.

I have been decreasing my banana intake and that might be my reason why I am loosing weight.
The bananas are just getting way too sweet in a shake.

My cell Phone broke today which sucks so I don't have a phone, but its alright I don't have many friends anyways. And that the way I like it for now.

I went grocery shopping today and I spent money on food.
As for you guys thinking about doing this the cost is questionable.

Going to costco will save you money.
Buying all organic wont save you money.

Eating more and more bananas will save you money.
Eating blueberries, raspberries, grapes and other superfoods wont save you money.

My estimates so far has been about 20 dollars a day.
Thats around 150$ per week, 600$ per month.

For me its worth spending my money into something that keeps me healthy.

I left my camera in a friends car so no picture for dinner.

I've hit the 1 week mark
I ate my usual shake, filled with bananas and greens
I studied for my exam on friday.

I feel great except I keep loosing weight. Fuck it what can I do.
Today was the same as the other days just eating and thinking and doing and moving.
Have 39 seconds to waste?

Day 7. set it up. knock em down.




"The biggest barrier to becoming rich is living like you're rich before you are."
I gave up what I want today for what I want 10 years from now.

Woke up early. I want to wake up earlier.


Today was great. Good thoughts. 
Had my breakfast bright and early.
Breakfast: 1 apple, 1 mixed herb salad, 1 kiwi
4 banana + 20 organic mini carrots+ 1 tsp flax seed 
+ a portion of cacao nibs= dank blended shake
Energized and ready to start the day I headed for the worst place to spend my high energy.
School.

Actually met with a counselor to get some things straight. She was helpful, and knew how to do her job very well. I mainly talked to her about my decision
 on not transferring to a 4 year university. She questioned my decision as if I was making a mistake. She started to ask me why and I told her a reason she would more likely under
stand which was that I didn't want to spend the mon
ey. Honestly I wonder how many parents would spend 50 thousand dollars a year for their child if they really knew what they were doing in college. Smoking, drinking, partying 80 percent and cramming, procrastinating, barely passing the other 20% of their time. Really? Is that what happens in college? ha. 

I think either people are dumb or they decide to always ignore the problem. Denial. Always looking the other way. 

Well I came home for lunch

LUNCH: Carrot + banana = dank blended shake.
mixed salad + ranch + orange bell pepper.
1 asian pear, 1 kiwi, small bowl of assorted nuts & seeds


I actually still felt hungry after this so I ate another plate of 
salad and an apple.

Dinner: Salad + ranch + grape tomatoes + avocado
2 bananas, 1 cucumber, 1/2 orange bell pepper, 2 celery stalks, 2 flax cracker

Actually ate a second serving of salad. 

Still loosing a tad bit of weight.

Clearer thinking, thinking better, ideas, health, energy, weight loss= raw food benefits.
Weight loss is a negative for me, but it is what most people want so I'm listing it as a benefit.

Felt my first craving of junk food today. I wanted sweet stuff. I managed to get my head out the gutter so to speak. 

I had a little chat with my brothers friend today. He is only 13 years of age and always talks to me and asks me questions and advice. He asked me, "hey david, what would you do if you had all the money in the world for one day but you know you are going to die tomorrow." It surprised me that a 13 year old would think of such ideas. People rarely have to courage to talk about such things. I thought and tried to give him the best answer I could on top of my head. He replied with an answer of his own, talking about video games and what not, but added at the end, "I don't know when I'm going to die. Its a mystery. Nobody knows" As if it was the one answer that no one could give him.

 There's this saying that if your doing exactly the same thing you did at 20 at age 30, you've wasted 10 years of your life. So I know I need to be learning and educating myself, not necessarily through school and textbooks, but through real people, real problems, real experiences, and real books
I heard a man cannot run away from two things. Taxes and death.
I say, don't fuck with the man cutting your checks, or the man with a gun. You know what I mean.

I have reached a 1 week mark. Cheers.

Day 6. Exploring.


MY WAY

Had an unhappy wake up. I really do not like waking up in a bad mood or with any irritation or anger in my system because it tends to flow that way throughout the day. I got up and pounded a couple glasses of water right around 8, tried to go back to sleep, but decided to start the day. 
I started with  breakfast right away.
Breakfast: 4 banana +100 g blueberries +80 g spinach+flax see
ds 1 tbsp = dank shake.
1 Fuji apple, 
I banged a couple keys on the piano, and went to get what I like to call a waste of time a.k.a. college. As George Carlin would say, "lower the passing grades, more kids pass, school looks good, everybody happy, the IQ of the country slips 2 or 3 points, soon all you need to get into college is a pencil. you got a pencil? get the fuck in there its physics." Gotta love George Carlin he knows whats up. 

 
I had a chat with the construction worker down the street and found out that we are going to have a Walgreens across the street from Office Depot. Buildings going up, things getting built, opportunities appearing. 

The La Canada town mall is another interesting p
lace to check out. I ran into the owner of chipotle and got a little tour of the place. Although chipotle is good food, Im not sure if I wil
l be eating it if I decide to be a vegetarian for life.  The place was looking good. 

What I notice more and more is that La Canada continues to increase in marketing towards 30-45 year old females. The reason being, the men a
re out making the bucks while the woman is given a credit card to go spend and do whatever they want all day. Women don't like to drive far so building the Homegoods store is brilliant. 


Directly across the street from the Sport Chalet venue I saw a large store with workers cutting plates of wood and building something so I walked in and decided to find out what it was. The man I met inside was Shawn. He told me he was the manager of this project and said he is building a very high end Japanese Restaurant called "Sakura". The place includes a full sushi 
bar including alcohol, a full Hibachi bar, Private japanese tatami rooms. He went on to tell me that the restaurant is originally from the east-coast and that he moved to california just to start this first california project of opening up "Sakura" in the town center. He was a cool dude and told me I should check it out when they open next april and I will definitely try it out. The price seemed to be in the 15-30 range for an entree so I'm sure the rich demographics of La Canada wont mind dumping money into the business. 

I'm sure I am amongst the few who know that Sakura is coming in. Because I am interesting in what is happening around me. If I owned Ichiban in La Canada right now, I would be worried. The fact is that I am almost sure the dude who owns Ichiban does not know. If he knew this information, he would be hustling to find a buyer to get out before the big for sure financial hit.

Talking about demographics, I went across the street to see what was going on at the old sport chalet location. It is a gigantic place and had a for sale or lease sign up. I called the place to see the prices and some info. I don't ever have to buy something in order to find out info about it. Well the lease is $3 per square feet. I don't remember the exact number, but my calculation came out to more than 10k per month. A 1 mile radius of the store is 74 percent white caucasian, 21% asian. 20 percent of the households around 1 mile radius make 100-150k, and another 20% make 150k- 250k. I was surprised to 
see that it was still available. Someone with a visi
on, funds, creativity, leadership should be able to get some investors together to start building something there.

ages at the door, its feels like santa brought be a gift. I opened it and found the superfoods I ordered a couple days ago. Organic cacao be

Had a taste of both and found out that I really like both of them.

Dinner: 2 kiwi, yellow bell pepper half. 2 bananas, cashews
Mashed avocado + grape tomatoes+ 2 stalk celery
Im feeling pretty good mentally and physically. Went down 1 lb today, but plan on pigging out tomorrow.

Day 5. Oh shit.

 I could not post my blog yesterday so I am writing this blog as if it was day 5. 

Raw.

I woke up late again. I think the weather getting colder is not helping my get my ass out of bed either. I hate feeling cold getting out of bed. Its l
ike relaxing in a hot jacuzzi but with a snap of a second being surprised to find out the hot water turned into pool water. you know how that feels. 
I had a good breakfast knowing that I had a lot of thing
s to do today.

Breakfast: 4 banana +100 g spinach + 15 mini organic carrots +80 g blueberries = Dank shake.
1 organic apple

After breakfast I got busy playing my piano, but was cut short by a dead key. It got me very upset and disappointed. I tried to open the melody machine up to
 see what kind of brain it had and was surprised to s
ee an amazing work of art. 
 After not knowing how to fix the thing it was time for lunch already. 

Lunch: 2 bananas, 1 kiwi, 1 red bell pepper, cashews, bowl of grape tomatoes, bowl of salad.
 I handled the salad well. I bought some organic ranch dressing, but I read the label and found out the thing had a lot of fat. My original plan was to keep my fa
t intake under 15%, but eating  a lot of cashews and dressing 
might have put me a little over the limit today.

I found out I needed to learn a bunch of nothing from bunch of idiot teachers so I went and handled school.
I hate the fact that I will read the
same books, same material, same method, thought process, education at school. It is taught to tons of kids throughout the country yet, the term "you will be wealthy when you graduate with a degree"  does not prove itself. How many kids have read the econ book? english? physics? business? How will there be any unique thinking. They all have the same useless universal book knowledge in their head. I want to learn something in class today, that I can apply tomorrow and make money. Simple. 

Well, I found out I needed money to live so I went to work.

One thing I noticed about eating raw is that I shit a lot. My shit is soo smoothe I swear it comes out like butter. Doesn't smell either. It does not smell like ANYTHING. Sick right? so sick. I know. sick shit.
I also fart a lot and it doesnt smell. I could release a silent one sitting at dinner with a date and she would not even know it.

Dinner: 7 romaine heart with grape tomatoes.
1 yellow bell pepper, 2 kiwis, 3 stalk celery, 1 flax cracker
3 banana+100 g spinach = blended shake.

I have not lost any weight because I am making sure I dont. I have been eating a lot of bananas on the side and feel like I can be devolve back to a monkey anytime. 
I don't have any more headaches and my mind feels more clear than ever. I had some things I was writing about and it was flowing out without much cuts. 
My skin is getting a little bit drier than usual, but it can somewhat be contributed to the cold weather. Not any big significant changes, but I will make sure I catch anything that comes up.

Day 4, lazy.



I really could not wake up today. 10! I hate waking up late and 10 is ridiculous. It felt as if my day has been wasted. I think the cold weather is the reason why I am waking up so late, but maybe its the food. 

Breakfast: 4 banana+spinach+blueberries= blended shake
a bowl of fresh salad
1 fuji apple

Sundays are usually easy going. I do most of my cleaning, laundry, homework, groceries.
And today, is a sunday.

One thing I am noticing is that my hands and feet are cold. This is very unusual because I am always hot. I noticed it especially when I was playing my piano and felt like my fingers were going to break off because they were so cold. My fingers felt stiff and slow. The weather is definitely in no doubt getting colder as we head into october, but its not yet cold enough for my hands and feet to stay this cold all the time. 
After playing my piano for most of the day I prepared my lunch.
 
Lunch: 1 orange bellpepper, 2 bananas, 12 grape tomatoes, 1 kiwi, some fresh romaine lettuce.

I went to trader joes after my lunch to restock on my already empty refrigerator.
I've never shopped at trader joes and found myself liking the place alot. They have tons of amazing organics and delicious healthy food. Its really close to my house so I can skate there for exercise if I wanted to. I ended up buying some organic bananas, organic apples, some strawberries, mixed salads, cashew nuts, green tea, asian pears, and flax crackers. Shopping at trader joes made me realize the fact that not a lot of people eat 100% raw. Although many bananas and apples or oranges can fit into the bags that are provided on a stand, they are way too small for me to fit anything more than 10 bananas. I didn't want to bag them separately so I asked the adorable worker that happened to be walking next to me to go get me a bigger bag. She had a puzzled look as to why I was attempting to buy all the bananas in the store, but I didn't bother telling her. I think from now trader joes will be my primary source of food. 




As I was loading up my groceries, my buddy called me to go skate a flat bar, I went straight there because I always have my set-up and skateshoes ready to go in my car. 
Got my exercise for the day.

I am eating so much food. I'm not craving any cooked food yet. I think some people who start off on this diet cannot handle the temptation of meat and such, but I find it fairly easy because of my family. No body in this house knows how to cook. My mom has probably never cooked a decent meal in years. The reason is that she does not know how to cook. Spaghetti or pasta is about the extent of her abilities. Also considering the fact that we basically don't have any cooking utensils, measuring cups, measuring spoons, and such Im glad that all I need to be 100%raw is a juicer a mixer a knife a fork and water and a refrigerator. And those thing we manage to have. I actually even have my own refrigerator. So I dont see cooked food unless I'm working so I dont want cooked food. Out of sight, out of mind. 

Dinner: 4 banana shake
bowl of strawberries, tomatoes, cucumber, kiwi, 2 celery, 1 asian pear, flax crackers, cashews.

As I said before I'm not listing Every single thing I eat. 
I might make a shake or two for snacks, some bananas to munch on or apples.

Things are going really good at this point. I didnt loose any weight today because I made sure I didnt. I ate more than enough to keep my current weight, but I wont be over grubbing for long. As soon as my hemp protein powder gets here I should be able to cut down on the munching a little.

No headaches today. I believe my body is slowly starting to get used to the diet. My mind is clearer and I dont seem to be overly stuck in my mind or worrying. Not that I tend to think or worry lot just the fact that the things I was thinking about or worrying about did not get to me or irritate me today. Just to let you know I try to think as least as I can. 90% of all thinking seems to me useless anyways. Most of the time people think about their past mistakes or events that stop you from change and inflicting pain to self by replaying worthless past scenarios. I want to live in the present and in order to do so thinking needs not be present. The future gives people anxiety due to the desire for the future to be now, but the inability to have what is to come tomorrow, today, only builds anxiety. So I know Im going out of the raw line here, but I think the raw food has allowed me to be a little more present and in the now.

Day 3 no big deal

I didnt want to wake up today. Maybe its the new cold weather, maybe the diet. Today, I woke up in an ok mood and the day went along just like that. I am not noticing anything significant besides the fact that I felt a lot cooler today. My hands and feet are especially cold. 

Breakfast: 
blended shake: 4bananas, 100 g spinach, 100 g blueberries, 80 g carrots
On plate: 1 kiwi, 20 grape tomatoes, some blueberries.
2 celery 

I was especially hungry after going to the park and skating around I was back for lunch only hours after my breakfast.
Lunch: 1 Red bellpepper, 15 grape tomatoes, 1 fuji apple, 2 bananas, and some organic assorted nuts and seeds

Im really getting used to the bellpeppers. I actually like the freshness and its sweet yet slightly bitter taste. I shall buy more for my next grocery. 
I had to go to work today for a night shift so I decided to eat my dinner early at 4. 
I made myself a avocado+tomato+celery salad, another banana/spinach shake, an
d a small bowl of brocolli/carrots. 

Its amazing how much food I am eating everyday. Eating something e
very 2 hours is something I am definitely not used to. In the past I would eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, chicken teriyaki lunch/ beef bowl for lunch, and rice/ pasta/ subway/in'n'out for dinner. Today I felt as if I was shoving food down my throat every minute of the day. 
One thing I am starting to notice about eating 100% raw is that the Ups and Downs of energy don't exist. I feel a constant stream of equal energy levels all throughout the day. No drowsiness after a heavy lunch and no need for a nap. I also felt my skin drying up more than usual. Hmm. I think this means I should go get some decent moisturizer and some chapstick.I want to prepare myself as much as possible. The afternoon headache is still here. Its a very weird and subtle type of headache like I said before. Maybe its due to the reduction in calory intake/sugar/ junk I am consuming. Oh, and i almost forgot. I have lost a total of 4 lbs in the past 3 days. that is NOT good. Tommorow I have plans to buy some organic hemp protein powder tomorrow to make sure I can at least maintain my weight.
I am reading and learning more about the raw diet from respectable sources everyday.
Today I read a lot about Superfoods and placed an order of organic cacao beans and some organic goji berries from www.sunfoods.com

 It seems to me that this is only the beginning of the benefits I will be experiencing on this diet. 


As for my job, I work at an amazing asian restaurant where I smell cooked food all day. If I can go one month 100% raw while working at this current job, I know that nothing can break my resistance level!

Day 2 Raw Raw Raw!

I slept like a baby last night. One thing I noticed during a couple hours before I went to sleep is that I felt a mildly uncomfortable headache. Not the full blast head aches but a slight distracting kind. Well I ended up sleeping like a baby and woke up with the mind fully clear and not tired at all. 
Breakfast was a simple 4 banana+ 100g spinach + water shak
e.
I wasn't hungry until about 1 after I was done skatin
g outside with the best weather ever. 

And it was time for lunch.
Im not really digging the taste of the celery because of its bitter aftertaste. Im thinking I could switch to a more fresh plain tasting replacement. 

I am not posting everything I eat everyday because of my busy schedule, but I am eating 100% raw. I post my daily blog either after lunch or after dinner depending on the day. I will make sure to include a diverse variety of meals into the photos. 

Im thinking of a eating a huge bowl of mixed greens for dinner, some bananas in between and some nuts and shakes. 

So far no cravings of cooked food, but that can always change.

Eating 100% Raw

Eating 100% raw seems to be the new trend in nutrition emerging nowadays. I see why now more than ever it is important for a huma
n being to take care of their own body and its health. Due to the massive amounts of fast food, processed food, and genetically altered foods eating 100% raw almost seems like common sense. Although sometimes people criticize the diet and are skeptical of its benefits due to a lack of education and knowledge in this field. I wont tell you why you should or shouldn't eat 100% raw. I know it will benefit my health and if you want to believe in it too then do some research. Its not that hard. Type in eating raw into google and it will spit you out some dank information. As for me, today is the first day of my 30 day challenge to eating 100% raw. This means eating only living vegetables and fruits. I will be eating mostly bananas because they are cheap and include lots of everything. 
I will not be eating the following:
no cooked or dead foods
no meat
no snacks
no milk
no caffeine
no grains ( rice, wheat, corn)
no beans
no alcohol
no junk food
no bread
no sodas

I will keep track of my progress, weight, energy level, health, and anything that changes or happens throughout this 30 day challenge.


And here is my first batch of groceries!


That should last me for a little while...

And without further delay I made my first 100% raw lunch.
